Description of Role
As an Acquisition Associate Piotr’s principle aim is to maximize the performance of Portico’s Acquisitions Department in Poland.

Career Experience
During his 4 years professional career Piotr has been taking part in commercial and public administration IT related projects development around Poland. He is familiar with the law, surveying/ real estate relevant legal regulations, procedures for investment process, oriented in local real estate market. Additionally he can manage and operate GIS/Map Intelligence technology – tools used in supporting investment decisions.

Qualifications
Warsaw University of Technology, Master of Engineering - Geodesy and Spatial Information Systems Major Postgraduate Studies of Property Management.

Severin Fortuna - BumbleBee

Between 22^th-26^th September Portico arranged its third BumbleBee initiative in Severin Fortuna Plaza. Customers were asked about their opinion on store diversity, decoration and newly opened 3D cinema. Small research met a warm response; people were kind, patient and willing to offer helpful information. 300 questionnaires were completed and all respondents received vouchers for Moanga Cinema.

Oradea City Running Day

On 18^th September the 1st edition of “Oradea City Running Day” – running competition was organized in Oradea by a local sport club – having Oradea Plaza as partner of the event. The collective challenge gathered more than 400 competitors and supporters in the downtown. This time the winner of semi marathon (21 km) was a professional runner. We are looking forward the next round in 2012!

Euronics – Budaörs & Budakalász

Portico Investments welcome Euronics Vöröskő Kft. in two of their retail properties, located in Budaörs and Budakalász Retail Parks. Portico have concluded 2 lease contracts totalling circa 4,300m². The 2 new stores opened on 10^th August 2011, being the 1^st flagship stores of Euronics’ brand new Mega concept in Hungary. During the Opening period our second Bumblebee Project was carried out – two students with iPads asked the customers about their opinion on the Mega Store and the Retail Park.

Cafe opening in Oradea Plaza

On 5^th July Blondy’s Art Café and its outside Beer Garden opened in Oradea Plaza, Romania. Simultaneously, Portico’s Bumblebee Project was carried out – two students with questionnaires asked the customers about their opinion on Billa supermarket, the Plaza’s new decoration and on the photo exhibition upstairs with theme ‘Laughter’.

Cinema opened in Severin Fortuna Plaza

On 28^th May the 3D MOANGA Cinema officially opened its doors for the public. The cinema is located in Severin Fortuna Plaza, Romania and attracts movie fans across the micro region. Opening was a great success, all tickets were sold out.

Biedronka in Katowice

In July 2011 Portico Investments acquired a new store in Katowice, Poland. The property with an area of over 1,500 m² is currently leased to Jerónimo Martins – the owner of the Biedronka supermarket chain. This acquisition is Portico’s 55^th asset and the 10^th in Poland.

PortiBoatie

28^th July was a very special day for Portico, when the Porti – Dragon – Boatie competition was organized at Kopaszi-gát. Four teams – including Portico – were organised who competed in rowing on the Danube. Also archery could be practiced. After a fierce competition, the trophy this year went to Cushman & Wakefield. The day ended in good mood at a karaoke party.

Czestochowa – Simply & Pepco

The year 2011 brought a really successful start for Portico while the first Tenants began trading in Centrum Fortuna, Czestochowa, Poland. The food retail store, Simply (member of the Auchan Group) and Pepco, self-service discount store in clothing industry, organized the public opening on 27^th January 2011. During the whole day from 7:00 am to 9:00 pm approx. 5,000 people visited Centrum Fortuna!

Budaörs – Jysk

JYSK Trading Limited opened its 4^th store with Portico on 24^th February 2011. The new store (having 1,214 m² store area) is located in a retail park in Budaörs and is a new neighbour of an already existing retail tenant mix (sport equipment, toys and drugstore). It is interesting to point out that Jysk is a cross border partner, while it is Portico’s Tenant in 3 countries (Romania, Hungary and the Czech Republic).

Soroksár – Jysk & Gulliver

After internal restructuring at the Soroksár Retail Park, two long term partners opened their stores for the public, on 11^th November 2010. Gulliver Trading and Servicing Limited, represented in toy sector, opened its second unit with Portico and is ready to welcome customers from all age at its 872 m² area. JYSK Trading Limited, an international retail chain that sells 'everything for the home’, opened its third store with Portico and has started to attract the clients on 1,214 m² store area.

Oradea – Fortuna Plaza

The opening ceremony of Oradea Plaza took place with over 1,000 guests in attendance on 14^th July 2010. Oradea Plaza, one of Portico ‘s biggest developments, is now complete. Billa, retail chain of supermarkets, the first tenant to begin trading, opened on 15^th July 2010. Since then Portico has had new Tenants from various sectors, such as telecommunications, health, insurance, jewellery and since December 2010 MBT, the world famous producer of physiological footwear.

6 Biedronka Stores in Poland

Portico Investments acquires more assets, this time 6 Biedronka stores across Poland. To date this amounts to c. €15 million of the investment fund’s €300 million of committed equity which remains primarily focused on acquiring best-in-class local supermarkets across CEE.

4 Penny Stores in Czech Republic

In April 2010 Portico acquired 4 new stores in the Czech Republic. The 4 Penny stores can be found in Chrudim, Prerov, Rychwald and Trinec, towns located on the eastern part of the Czech Republic.
